Welcome to the Fractal Explorer Page. This code is optimized for computer screens, not phones. It does work on a phone but it's klunky. Use a mouse, or your finger, to make a rectangle for zooming, then click Make Fractal. This program was originally developed as a Java applet by David Leberknight as an example of Object-Oriented Design for the University of Colorado course CSCI-4448; that code is here. This is the new JavaScript version, just for fun. With this program you can visualize the Mandlebrot and Julia sets, and create mathematical art.
