I went to Montreal for the World Footbag Championships. It was fun! Here's a great Video (worth watching). I did not compete, but I did run the live-stream for finals (thanks Stadyo). I played a lot of footbag, with many old friends in attendance. Bonus: my friend Mel (who I know from New Zealand) lives in this fab city, and she's an expert in the local mural artist scene. Thanks for the tour, Mel! I still have a life goal of speaking French fluently, and every time I get a chance to study and practice, I do. This was no exception. I went through the whole DuoLingo app, and I am finally at intermediate level. Cela me rend heureax. For these reasons and more, I think that Montreal is the coolest city in North America, and I am not referring to the brutal winter weather. It's like a chunk of Europe floated over the Atlantic and settled in for a good time. The place is also bicycle friendly, which I love, and has lots of cool mural artwork :-)
