We stopped over in Cairo on our way from Kenya and Uganda to Europe (for a family reunion). Our cousin Dux joined us to tour the wicked highlights. After Kenya and Uganda, exploring this mega-city seemed super easy! This was our second time in Cairo, so we focused a lot of attention on the good food and amenities, but we stayed in a cheap hotel in an old Muslim neighborhood for the vibe. We even bought clothes and saw a movie at a shopping mall with indoor skiing! The first time we visited Egypt was also after an extended African road trip. Yep, this programme is so amazing it is worth repeating!
